Adios question and answers (FAQ)
1. What Adios is and what it is used for?
• Adios is a licensed herbal medicine traditionally used to aid slimming.
• It is for use as part of a calorie-controlled diet.
• The product is for use by adults (16 years and above) and the elderly.
• The natural herbal active ingredients
in this product are fucus dry extract,
boldo dry extract, butternut and
dandelion root.
2. How can Adios help me lose weight?
• By speeding up your body’s metabolic rate, and stimulating fat metabolism.
3. Is there anything I should know before I take Adios
Do not take Adios if:
• Yyou are allergic (hypersensitive) to fucus dry extract, boldo dry extract, dandelion root, butternut or any of the
other ingredients (as listed in Section 6).
• If you are under 16 years of age.
4. Should I use Adios if I suffer from any medical conditions?
Before taking this product talk to your doctor:
• If you are being treated for a thyroid
condition.
• If you have been told by your doctor that you have an intolerance to some sugars (e.g. lactose intolerance).
• Adios is not known to affect, or to be affected by other medicines. However, problems of this sort are theoretically possible. If you are taking other medicines and are in any doubt about using Adios you should talk to your doctor or pharmacist.
• Important information about two of the
ingredients of Adios: The tablets contains
small amounts of lactose and sucrose.
If you have been told by your doctor that
you have an intolerance to some sugars
(e.g. lactose intolerance), discuss this
with your doctor before using this product.
5. How and when should I take Adios?
• Take Adios at mealtimes. Adios is not known to affect, or to be affected by, alcohol.
• If you are pregnant or breast feeding, do not take Adios.
• Taking
this product is not known to affect your ability to drive or use machinery.
6. How do I take Adios?
• Only take the tablets by mouth.
• When opening the container for the first time, break the tamper evident band around the flip-top cap.
• Adios is only for adults (16 years and above). Adios is suitable for the elderly.
• Swallow one tablet 3 or 4 times a day at during mealtimes.
• Use Adios as part of a calorie-controlled diet.
• Do not take more than the recommend dose as this can lead to diarrhoea to occur.
• Do not worry if you occasionally forget to take a Adios pill.
Just carry on taking your normal dose when
you do remember. Do not take any extra tablets to
make up for those you may have forgotten.
7. Are there any possible side effects?
• Like all medicines, Adios can cause side effects, although most people never get them.
• If you take too a high a dose or if you take the tablets too often, diarrhoea may occur. If this happens, stop taking Adios and drink plenty of fluids. If your diarrhoea gets serious, or you notice any side effects not listed in this leaflet, stop taking the tablets immediately and tell your doctor or pharmacist.
8. How do I store Adios safely?
• Keep out of the reach and sight of children.
• Do not use Adios after the expiry date shown on the container. The expiry date refers to the last day
of that month.
• Do not store above 25ºC.
• Always close the cap tightly after use.
• Medicines should not be disposed of via wastewater or household
waste. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of medicines no longer required. These measures will help
to protect the environment.
