Does free hoodia really exist?
We know this may look like a silly question, especially when you search the web for 'free hoodia trials' and find thousands, but here is something you probably didn't know.
These exclusive 'try me now' deals are far from free. If anything they are the most expensive deals you will ever come across.
Don't believe us? Take a look for yourselves. Go on, have a closer look at the fine print.
Ah, yes... you've seen it too.
These companies may appear to be offering you free hoodia, but they are in fact tricking you into being signed up for an auto shipping program.
Never heard of them? They are a company’s quickest means to getting a hold of your cash with minimal effort involved.
Let us explain how the 'free hoodia' con works
When you accept their 'free trial' you will automatically be enrolled into the above mentioned auto shipping program. A program that will ship you out a month's supply of hoodia every single month - from the moment you sign up - at the fantastic price of $50-$80 dollars.
Not exactly free is it?
But this con is happening everywhere.
You see when you sign up to their free offer, you will always be charged a nominal fee, which is basically their way of getting you to pay for the shipping and handling fee of the product.
And here's the catch. To pay this 'small' fee they need your credit card details, which they then use to send you your free sample.
Sounds simple? At a first glance, we suppose it is. But nothing is that straight forward. Yes, you may have got the free sample, but you have only got 15 days to try it before you can cancel. If you don't, then you will be one of the many thousands of hoodia customers who will be enrolled into this auto ship program.
But this is not the worst part of the scam
The fine print may say you can cancel at 'any time', but what it doesn't tell you is that your chances of actually getting through on the phone to a real person is slim.
And if you can't get through, then you can't cancel, and if you can't cancel, well... you have got many months of at least $50-$80 being taken out of your account for a product you don't even want.
As if this wasn't bad enough... all these free hoodia samples are fake.
For example who would willing offer free Hoodia Gordonii when it is globally recognised as being an endangered species? They would have paid enough themselves to get the plant exported and made into capsules. Why would they then give it to you for free?
Real, authentic Hoodia Gordonii cost money for a reason
So you need to ask yourself this question – before you sign up to any free trial – where is the proof that it is real? Exactly. Put many of them up to the following questions and they'd more than likely fail:
* Where was it grown? If it is not from the Kalahari region of South Africa, move on. You may be able to find 100% Hoodia Gordonii from China and Texas, but it is the soil that makes the difference. Grow it somewhere else and Hoodia’s effectiveness will decrease.
* What part of the plant is used? Remember it is the aerial stem of the plant that has the appetite suppressant qualities. The leaves, the body – all has no value.* Extract or powder? See ‘extract’ anywhere on the label and all you are really getting is 60% of the plant. If that! So choose powder every time and witness the instant results.
* Is it Hoodia Gordonii? It may sound like a silly question, but there are actually 13 plants in the Hoodia family, and it is only Hoodia Gordonii that has the active ingredient you need.
* Why is the price low? The deal may look tempting at the time, but if you are looking for guaranteed results, choose the pricier supplements. They are only pricey because they are the real deal. And when you look at the 2,000 calories you can save a day, then it will be well worth it.
But if you did honestly find one that passes all these questions; that has got the laboratory testing and the CITES certificate to back it up, then yes give it a try. We are not stupid. We too can see a good deal when there is one.
But you have to be careful when choosing a hoodia product.
Because if we are honest, there is no such thing as FREE Hoodia. Which is why authentic slimming websites, such as Slimming.com, will only offer you hoodia products which they know will pass all the nessesary tests to ensure you are receiving true 100% hoodia.
